Loves hanging out in a kitchen. It’s genuinely my happy place. I blame my Italian genes. I’ve started going meal prep recently (read: for a whole week), and homie, let me tell you. It’s a game changer. It’s initially annoying because it takes time sorting recipes and plotting everything out, but then it makes life SO 👏🏼 MUCH 👏🏼 EASIER! And cheaper! Give it a whirl, Shirl. My fave recipes from the past week were the Eggplant Curry and Dhal on the BBC Good Food website. Just Google “cheap vegan eats” and it should come up 🙌🏼 (my man’s vegan). All of the noms. What’s your go-to recipes for meal prep? (Kitchen and photo skillz belong to my gorgeous pal @lavinia_hunter)

As a very wise meme once told me: “You can have it all. Just not all at once.” Meaning you can be the go-getter chasing your dreams, crushing mum life, owning your morning routine, running that half-marathon, making those money moves and writing that novel ... but you can’t do it all at that same time. You’d literally explode. But you can focus on one or two, and own them like a mother. For me, one of my big goals for this season is getting into shape and finally shedding that baby weight. Because being accountable helps me stay on track, I’m gonna be sharing some stuff on my Stories - particularly this week while I do an experiment with going “Mediterranean Paleo”. Just wanted to give you a heads up ✌🏼 Wish me luck! x
